Episode 87, "Satan's Legion Runs Wild! The Curtain Rises on the Cell Games"
*****SPOILERS*****
Synopsis: Mr. Satan arrives at Cell's arena, a cameraman and TV news reporter covering it. Mr. Satan guarantees an easy victory. Vegeta arrives next. Artificial Human 16 soon follows. Then Goku, Gohan, Trunks, Piccolo, Kuririn, Tenshinhan, and Yamucha. 16 joins them, with Goku greeting him, but being warned off. Goku offers to go first, but Mr. Satan demands respect. Seeing him on TV, the King of the World vaguely recognizes Goku as the one who defeated Piccolo Diamao. He also recognizes Piccolo. Just before Mr. Satan can start, two of his protoges and their manager arrive and decide to take on Cell first. The first one is pushed out of the ring by Cell's ki. The second is pushed out by an invisible force Cell exerts. Mr. Satan insists Cell is using tricks, and steps up. First, Mr. Satan demonstrates his strength by breaking tiles. Mr. Satan attacks Cell, but Cell easily swats him out of the ring. Goku puts his foot in the ring.

Really? Toei couldn't have cut Mr. Satan's students out? It would have been possible. I know they cut to them from time to time, but that could be cut out entirely, couldn't it? It's such a waste of time. The Cell Games is my favorite part of the entire franchise, and I love everything about the animated version except for these two losers. Ugh. I can even recall their dub English VAs and how much more obnoxious they made these guys. Mr. Satan is hilarious, but those students and the manager are a big waste of time.
Fuck them and fuck this episode.
