Zeta Gundam

Zeta Gundam Memorial Box - Part I

Over the past few years I've seen a couple folks share images of their Laserdisc Zeta Gundam Memorial Boxset and I eventually picked up a set for myself. Laserdisc? Well, apparently it has all the original openings and endings in great quality without some of the issues on the US DVD release. Don't ask me, I have no plans of picking up a Laserdisc player to find out. I got them for the really cool artwork and, to me, collector value. They ended up being away more impressive than I originally thought so I figured I'd snap a bunch of photos and share 'em for anyone interested.

Time to take a break from FFXIII and share some WIP shots of my purple Nemo. It's coming along quite well, though there are a few issues. One of the things I was worried about was getting the kit from green to a proper white. Several parts look good but there are two that could have used a few more coats of primer. Unfortunately I couldn't tell by looking at them during the painting stages, but now that they're together along side an appropriately painted counterpart, it's pretty obvious. Luckily they don't seem to show that evidently in my photos.

Been awhile since I updated with any progress on this kit. Things have been sorta slow going. Partly due to the demands of work and partly due to the difficulty getting parts the proper color. Priming to white is a lot more difficult than I thought it would.

Anyhow, some photos. Starting with the purple bits...

Here are some photos of my (most likely) last MG Nemo build. It's for the Grunt MS Group Build over at the Gundam Australia Forums.

The intent is simple, a clean build featuring sparky purple, pure white, and silver details. As always I will be trying something new, mainly a painted silver frame and metal decals. In addition it will be my first attempt with a acrylic gloss topcoat.

Here's a look at the frame...
