Otaku Evolution Episode 71 - Arcade Gamer Fubuki

Stack those quarters up and grab a slice, because we're gonna get the controls greasy and play... er, I mean watch, a little ecchi comedy called Arcade Gamer Fubuki, about a girl whose panties give her the ability to GIT GUD. Japan, you're so forward-thinking, a girl gamer who doesn't mind showing off the goods. Empowered by her underwear, literally! Progress marches ever onward. Also, for some reason, she's friends with Excel from Excel Saga (or, at least a character played by her).

Ghost in the Shell FPS trailer

Looks decent enough, though I haven't played a FPS in ages, so I don't know what is considered good with those anymore. Obviously the graphics are not really current-gen, but it gives it a nice PS2-ish feel and I love me some Stand Alone Complex.

Gamers Are Assholes

Now, in my "favorite video games" article some time ago, I mentioned that, personally, I'm not much of a gamer. And by that, I mean I'm not very good at them. I enjoy video games. They've been a large part of my life. However, I'm just not very skilled. So, perhaps it's with a little envy, or perhaps just a boat load of frustration, when I tell you, the folks who are good at them are mostly a pack of arrogant cum stains who I wish would die in a horrible fire that kills their parents and pets as well. Hardcore gamers are jerks. If you're not one, that is. I'm guessing that, if you are one, you probably have no idea what I'm talking about. You're that deeply immersed in the gamer culture, attending Penny Arcade conventions (those guys are pretty cool, though), rawking out on Guitar Hero all night long with your pals, shitting in a daiper as you level up your troll warrior mage on some MMORPG. Treating Madden games like they're actual sporting events, and you are an actual athlete.

My Favorite Vidya Games

Penguin Truth's Top 25 Favorite Vidya Games I'm quite fond of video games. I'm not really a "gamer" the way others are, mostly because I've never been all that good at them. Seriously, I suck out loud at video games. They won't even let me in arcades. It doesn't help that folks who are good at video games make you feel like worthless trash if you aren't as good as they are at playing them. It's very discouraging. Still, there are a lot of video games I've enjoyed in my twenty five years of life. And here's the top 25! I'll provide some reasoning for the top ten. 1. Chrono Trigger (SNES) (1995) (Squaresoft)/Chrono Trigger DS (DS) (2008) (Square Enix) Chrono Trigger is the greatest video game of all time, of that I have no doubt. Okay, so actually, I've not played every video game of all time, so it would be impossible to determine whether or not this is an actual truth.
